Guest Lectures - World Englishes Q&A Session
I was invited to give a guest lecture for a World Englishes course at a university in Turkey. Rather than having the session be instructor-centered, I involved the learners by including interactive surveys and polls. Learners were in small groups and each group created one question related to World Englishes and my experience with English as a global lingua franca. The 1-hour session was held on Zoom and included structured answers to learners' questions along with an open Q&A at the end of the session.
